Panshikar is one name that comes on the top of your mind when you think about Maharashtrian snacks. While I have been eating out at their outlets in Girgaon and Dadar, I got a chance to visit their Vile Parle outlet in December 2019.
Chetan was coming down from Bengaluru by a morning flight and we decided to meet up for breakfast at Panshikar, Girgaon. Mohit found that they also have an outlet at Vile Parle, so we shifted our plans to the Vile Parle outlet due to its proximity to the airport.
This was a welcome find and we absolutely liked this little place that serves amazing Maharashtrian fare. For this visit, we had Batata Vada, Sabudana Vada, Kothimbir Vadi and Puneri Misal Pav with hot masala milk. Every dish was extremely well made and fulfilling. As they say, "मन एकदम तृप्त झालं”
We would love to return for a bigger brunch soon!

Shishir,
This is an amazing blog. Will take some time to go through each of the eateries here. Love the concept and very nicely implemented.
Good for people who visit Mumbai and suburbs once in a while and crave for food and local delicacies.
Keep it going.
