Undoubtedly, Haridwar, like the other old cities in India, has some amazing street food options. However, there are times when you are a bit tired of walking down the streets and want to have a nice peaceful meal in a quiet place.
Head over to the Hari Ganga Haveli near the Ram Ghat. The entrance is a bit hidden, so if you are visiting this place for the first time, you may need to ask for directions.

Do not expect fast service like fast food restaurants. Once you go there, order your Thali, freshen up and relax a bit before your meal. This place has amazing hosts and very good food too.

While the Thali doesn't have too many dishes like some typical Gujarati / Marwadi / Punjabi Thalis, each dish that they prepare is fresh, made from local ingredients and very delicious. Basic flavours that satisfy your soul.

This is a must visit place for at least one meal whenever we visit Haridwar.
